What a journey this has been to get to this stage! However, we’ve made it and can now start helping those families who need debt support especially after Christmas! We delighted to launch in 2022.

Our New Debt Centre Manager

Welcome to our website!

Hi, I'm Paul Robinson, the new debt centre manager. I'm looking forward to joining the Kendal and District team in August. I'm excited about the opportunity to help bring transformation to people's lives through release from poverty and debt, working together with CAP and supported by local churches.

I've worked in both the voluntary and public sectors, including most recently with schools and families of children with special needs.

I'm married with two adult children, and my wife and I love to travel and explore new places. I also love books , connecting with people across cultures, and the outdoors, especially the Lakes.

Partnership Churches that support the work of the Kendal & District Debt Centre

In November 2019, 17 church leaders came together to discuss the possibility of a new debt centre. Now, 2 years on we’ve now got 6 marvellous partner churches that are supporting the work.
